It’s no secret that evidence of dinosaurs can be seen all around the state of Utah. Let cutting edge technology introduce you and your family into the mysterious, ancient world of dinosaurs at “Moab Giants Dinosaur Park”. This one-of-a-kind adventure park allows you to experience life-sized dinosaurs both on land and underwater. Moab Giants is an Adventure in Prehistoric Creatures Unlike Anything You've Ever Imagined!

If you’ve been to Moab in recent years, you’ve likely noticed the park at the turnoff to Dead Horse Point State Park and Canyonlands National Park. Some of the life-sized dinosaurs are visible from the highway. But you need to experience this one-of-a-kind dinosaur museum/park first hand. Moab Giants caters to families with kids of all ages. We can’t wait to bring our grandkids and pull them around in the two-seater dinosaur wagons! Moab Giants is an Adventure in Prehistoric Creatures Unlike Anything You've Ever Imagined!

On Land

We got up close and even a little personal with over 100 full-sized dinos on our 1/2-mile walk. We were so glad we had our cameras and had fun trying to capture scenes with no evidence of today’s modern world in our pictures. These are not just life-size statues.Playground at Moab Giants They are realistic intimidating depictions of massive, thundering creatures and their smaller counterparts interacting with each other and their world.

For those who still like playing in the dirt, they will love digging for fossils and dinosaur bones in the designated areas. There’s also a playground; I’ll bet you can guess its theme.

Underwater

The 5D Prehistoric Aquarium is most visitors’ favorite part of the park; we were no exception! The technology is amazing. Images are projected onto seven different screens to create a glimpse into ocean life during the dinosaur age. Sound and other effects made it that much more intense. As we walked through this virtual theater, we came face to face with some of the largest, most interesting and fierce creatures ever discovered. We took numerous pictures without success. You really have to see the results of this technology use in person to appreciate how cool it is! There’s a reason it’s called 5D.

Interactive Museum

Not your average dinosaur museum, groundbreaking technology makes these interactive displays and activities as informative as they are entertaining and fun. Moab Giants’ 3D theater is a powerful teaching tool to learn more about dinosaurs and how they lived.

Moab Giants Cafe

Whether you’re an herbivore who loves salads and wraps or a carnivore who can’t wait to sink your teeth into a juicy burger or sub sandwich, you’ll find this menu to be like their dinosaurs, large! The drink menu is impressive with multiple choices of hot and cold beverages. There are even half a dozen items on the little caveman menu. The food is cooked to order with hearty portions. Make sure you refuel before heading back to town.

Souvenir and Gift Shop at Moab Giants

We usually look but rarely buy in these places but this shop had a great selection at reasonable prices; plenty of cool dinosaur themed treasures, toys, books and much more.

Our water flasks are now sporting unique dino stickers with kokopellis.

Many Utah families are like us and make regular trips to the Moab area. If you have yet to experience the thrills and excitement at Moab Giants, we highly recommend planning an afternoon at this unique theme park!
