Where's Your Next Adventure? One that gets your heart pounding and provides a high adrenaline rush? If you live along Utah's Wasatch front, I believe that adventure is in your backyard.

ZIPLINE UTAH is located next to Rainbow Bay State Park on Deer Creek Reservoir in beautiful Heber Valley.

This course has the distinction of multiple world records.

1. The Screaming Falcon is the longest zipline over water in the world. The fact that there are two lines side by side adds competition to the excitement as you can race for bragging rights.

2. Their two-mile-long course is the longest continual zipline course in the world and includes 10 ziplines and 7 suspension bridges.

3. They have the second longest zipline in the lower 48 states.

Once our group of four climbed up the first tower, our feet never touched the ground until we had completed our course. We worked our way through a series of ziplines that are concerted with suspension bridges. Most of the towers are 80 feet high, providing you a bird's eye view of Deer Creek Reservoir with majestic Mount Timpanogos as a backdrop.

We loved the flexibility they gave us. They helped us pack our course with an exhilarating combination of ziplines and suspension bridges that filled our time allotment. Obviously, it included The Screaming Falcon. Of course, we matched up for some friendly competition. Let's just say the outcome surprised me. One's speed depends more on how well you can hold a tight tuck position and not on who weighs the most. The lighter weight females ruled.

SAFETY

Zipline Utah has a unique safety feature. Before we stepped on the first stair to climb up to the first zipline, we were hocked onto a safety line. At no point did we ever unhook from it until we were all back on the ground. This continuous safety line is impressive, to say the least. I had read about it before our tour, this is something you have to experience to fully understand how ingenious it is.

SUMMARY

Zipline Utah offers five different tour packages ranging from one hour to 3.5 hours; $39 to $169 with a minimum age of 8 on some of the packages.

For me, the second time was even more exciting. In reflecting on why it was better in the second round, I believe I was able to focus on technique and try to be faster and stronger on the whole course.

For our family, no outing to Heber Valley complete until we've stopped at the Dairy Keen. This adventure was relived over award-winning burgers and shakes sitting in the Dairy Keen on Heber City’s Main Street. We shared photos, laughter, and our overall thoughts about Zipline Utah's course as we ate our dinner. Side note, sometimes eating at Dairy Keen is the only reason we find ourselves in Heber City. Yeah, the food is worth the drive, it's that good.
